On the Road Again in 2010

Its getting close to June and as Willie Nelson sings - "On the Road Again", we are gearing up for this summer's vacation.

Here is a map showing where our tentative travels will take us.  We'll start with meeting friends at Half Moon Bay, CA and then to Eureka, California.  Next will be Florence and Cannon Beach in Oregon.  Then it's off to Washington to learn about Lewis & Clark at Cape Disappointment and visit Olympic National Park.

We then take a ferry to British Columbia and spend 3 1/2 weeks on the Vancouver Islands.  We'll start at Victoria and go as far as Port Hardy.  We then return to North Vancouver by ferry from Nanaimo, BC.  Next we'll take the Selkirk Loop that goes through Washington, British Columbia, and Idaho.

Our next stop is Montana where we'll revisit Glacier National Park, Helena, Yellowstone National Park, and several ghost towns.  Wyoming is next where we'll see the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody, Central Wyoming, and Grand Teton National Park.

Last is Utah where we'll revisit Moab and see Arches and Canyonlands National Parks and Dead Horse Point State Park.  Other planned stops in Utah are Goblin Valley State Park, Natural Bridges National Monument, Capital Reef National Park, Escalante National Monument, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks, and Snow Canyon State Park.  Then it's back home.

We hope you'll visit our blog and follow along with us on our adventures.  A pleasant and healthy summer to all of you.
